Our Ministry
Mountain Top Ministries was founded on a spiritual commitment to the people of Haiti.
By building a school that doubled as the church, the villagers could see and feel the shift from voodoo to Christianity. The village began to prosper as Willem Charles, the founder of MTM, taught the farmers how to rotate crops and laid PVC pipes from a natural water spring to their land. The year-round farming brought a better economy, and the church/school brought a sense of community. The church, itself is the village hub, a place for all to gather and celebrate life at every level.
Groups from the church travel to other local churches to encourage one another. The ladies group and the youth group will often visit Port Au Prince and local hospitals, as well as the prison, to pray with and minister to those in need. They have also been responsible for community charity and benevolent activities. For years, there was a missing sense of belonging. Fortunately, the love of Christ and the community the Church brought to the people gave them new hope for the day and for the future.
In addition to Sunday and mid-week services, various programs are offered at the church throughout the week, including:
Discipleship Training
Bible Study
Prayer Meetings
Youth Groups
